Also, it is an amazing chance to taste one of the best seafood plates in the world and during having your meal you will enjoy the amazing sea view you have never seen before. visiting Montazah Palace and gardens and enjoying the unforgettable view. and don't forget to visit the location of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most famous lighthouse in antiquity. And lots of interesting places.
Can I bring prescribed medication with me?
Yes, but please ensure that you only bring enough for your stay, with just a few days’ extra supplies as a backup. It would also help if you could bring the prescription as well, as proof, or for topping up (there are many pharmacies in Egypt that can do this for you). If you happen to be traveling onwards from Egypt, and so have a lot more of your prescribed medicine with you, please ensure that you do have the prescription as proof.
What are the opening hours for shops and different stores in Egypt?
Most of the shops in Egypt open from around 10 AM and stay open until 10 PM; however, many shops, cafes, and restaurants especially in major cities stay open much later and some facilities and shops are open 24 hours.
